This cake was done for a Meredith Graduate - hence the "M" on the cake! Red velvet cake, cream cheese icing for the filling and covering the entire cake and gum paste letters spelling out congratulations!
This was an idea I've had in my head and been wanting to try out for some time now - Finally got around to it! Dark chocolate fudge cupcake, vanilla butter cream filling, pink fondant "ice cream", white fondant "whipped cream", white fondant "sprinkles" topped off with a red fondant "cherry"! These were so much fun to make and I'm really pleased with how they came out! :-)

These cupcakes were done for Teacher Appreciation at my children's school! This cake was done for a jungle themed baby shower! The cake was chocolate with chocolate ganache filling, topped with vanilla buttercream. It is impossible to look at that face and not smile!
This was a cake done for my Wilton class - a two-layer oval yellow cake topped with vanilla buttercream basketweave, edged with a rope pattern and topped with royal icing flowers.
This was the final version of the cake I did to top the cupcake tower at Saturday's wedding. The bride wanted black and silver dots since the cupcakes they had were topped with black and silver sprinkles and then I edged the bottom of the cake with a black satin ribbon. The cake itself was alternating layers of yellow and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream in between each layer, then topped with white fondant and buttercream dots.
This was a grooms cake done for a wedding - New Orleans Saints style! Lemon cake, vanilla buttercream filling, topped with white fondant and fondant details.
These were practice runs for a topper cake I'll be doing for a wedding in April - this small cake will sit atop the cupcake tower for the bride and groom to cut. The wedding colors are black and silver, so I was playing around with some ideas for incorporating those colors!
These cakes were done for a little boy's first birthday. They were having a Mickey Mouse themed party, so I made a large cake for all the guests to enjoy and the Birthday boy got his own personalized mini-mouseketeer hat cupcake! I was really excited how the little cake turned out - it was so much fun making both of these!
This cake was done for a little girl's 5th Birthday - obviously LOVES Littlest Pet Shop! The cake was my scratch-made pound cake recipe and it was topped with buttercream icing and fondant balloon cutouts for the animals to hold!
This was an order I had for someone celebrating their 62nd Birthday! The cake was fudge marble and it was decorated using both fondant and vanilla buttercream icing.

This cake was done for a little boy's first Birthday - they had a Scooby-Doo themed party. I also made a small "smash cake" for him to really have fun with in the shape of a party hat. I made the large cake in two flavors - the top tier was chocolate and the bottom was yellow cake both with buttercream icing topped with fondant.
